Web Desk: Pakistan’s Olympic javelin champion Arshad Nadeem was awarded the Global Breakthrough Athlete prize at the World Sports Summit in Dubai on Monday.
The two-day summit, taking place on December 29-30, brings together over 1,500 athletes, sports leaders, and policymakers to discuss the future of the industry under the theme “Uniting the World Through Sport,” according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Footage broadcast by news channels showed Nadeem receiving the award.
