Pakistan supports a peaceful resolution to the Yemen conflict and welcomes regional efforts to normalize the situation in Yemen:Spokesperson


Islamabad: The lists of prisoners, nuclear installations, and facilities between Pakistan and India have been exchanged at the beginning of the new year.
According to details, Foreign Office spokesperson, Tahir Hussain Andrani, stated that the lists of prisoners between Pakistan and India were exchanged, with 257 Indian prisoners included in the list. Under the agreement, Pakistan and India exchange lists of prisoners twice a year.
The spokesperson also mentioned that the exchange of nuclear installations lists between Pakistan and India takes place on January 1st. Pakistan has handed over its list to India.
In the statement, the spokesperson further stated that Pakistan supports a peaceful resolution to the Yemen conflict and welcomes regional efforts to normalize the situation in Yemen.
The spokesperson also noted that Prime Minister and the Saudi Crown Prince had a telephone conversation, during which both leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation. Additionally, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had a phone conversation with the Saudi Foreign Minister.
The spokesperson also shared that the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently visited Pakistan on an official trip. During the meeting between the Prime Minister and the UAE President, discussions were held on bilateral relations and cooperation.
