Pakistan U-19 beat Zimbabwe by 9 wickets to win Tri-Nation series

Web Desk: Pakistan's Under-19 cricket team clinched the Tri-Nation Series title defeating Zimbabwe by nine-wicket in Harare today.

Batting first Zimbabwe set a victory target of 159 runs all out in 44.4 overs. Pakistan's bowler Umar Zaib claimed four crucial wickets.

In response, Pakistan achieved the target for the loss of just one wicket in 16.2 overs. Pakistani batsman Sameer Minhas remained the top scorer with 114 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan opted to field first after winning the toss, a decision that paid immediate dividends as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 158 in 44.4 overs.

Pakistan’s bowlers dominated the early stages, reducing the hosts to five wickets for just 15 runs.
