Field Marshal meets Bangladesh air chief, reaffirms commitment to strengthen defense relations

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces(CDF), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, met with the Chief of the Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, during the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on matters of mutual interest, the regional security situation, and the prospects of further enhancing bilateral defense and military cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The ISPR spokesperson stated that both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening professional cooperation, training exchanges, and defense links between the armed forces.
The spokesperson further mentioned that the Chief of the Bangladesh Air Force appreciated the professional capabilities of Pakistan's armed forces and lauded their services for peace and stability in the region.
On this occasion, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to promoting long-term and strong defense relations with Bangladesh.
The meeting concluded reflecting the longstanding, strong, and cordial relations between the two brotherly countries.
