According to details, a delegation of the National Peace Message Committee (NPAC) met with the DG ISPR at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
This commitment was expressed by a delegation of the National Paigham-i-Aman Committee (NPAC), led by its Chairman Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, during a meeting with Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry in Rawalpindi today.
During the meeting, there was a detailed exchange of views on the promotion of the national narrative, internal security, and state stability.
The meeting reaffirmed unwavering solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces and confirmed a collective resolve to counter anti-state narratives.
During the discussion, the NPAC unequivocally condemned Fitna al-Khawarij, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and the Afghan Taliban, stating that terrorism has no justification. The delegation emphasized that the message of Muslim unity, social harmony, and constitutional equality would be promoted nationwide from pulpits and religious platforms. It was also agreed to adopt a zero-tolerance policy against hate speech, sectarianism, and takfiri narratives.
The ISPR spokesperson said that unity and a coherent national narrative on matters of national security are critically important. He added that comprehensive discussions were held on internal security in the context of Fitna al-Khawarij, TTP, and TTA, further strengthening the joint stance.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled position on Kashmir and Gaza, stating that supporting the oppressed is Pakistan’s moral responsibility. He noted that public awareness and a truth-based narrative are decisive weapons against the enemy’s psychological warfare.
According to the spokesperson, the NPAC proposed increasing awareness and guidance sessions in mosques, madrasas, and universities to promote the state narrative, and assured full cooperation in strengthening the national narrative. The DG ISPR termed the meeting exceptionally productive and expressed optimism about progress toward new avenues of trust and practical cooperation.
