Islamabad: The Moharramul Haram moon was sighted in Pakistan on Monday.

Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Commmittee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad announced the sightening of moon during a press conference in Quetta.
He said the Youm-e-Ashura would be observed on August 19 (Thursday) in the country.
Eralier the meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee took place for sighting of crescent of Moharram-ul-Haram 1443 AH.
