Sheikh Rasheed denies involvement in Afghan politics
Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister, Sheikh Rasheed has said that Pakistan wants peace with its neighbors and that it has no involvement in Afghan politics.
While addressing a presser in Islamabad, Sheikh Rasheed mentioned the names of the countries that are working to destabilize Pakistan.
“Israel, India and NDS nexus is working to destabilize region, but they will fail in their heinous designs,” said Rasheed.
Referring to the Dasu bus tragedy, the interior minister said that the Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs) have finished off the investigation.
Responding to the allegations made by his Indian counterpart, he said this blame game has been set to tarnish the image of Pakistan.
Talking about Noor Mukkadam murder case, Mr. Rasheed said people falling under murder case are put on the Exit Control List (ECL), making it impossible for them to flee the country.
Answering another question, the Awami League founder said that the Afghan envoy’s daughter refused to turn in her cellphone for forensic and she did not cooperate with the investigation as she left for Germany.
Mr. Rasheed stated that Kabul’s investigation team returned to its homeland on Sunday and complete assistance was offered to them.
He added that 95% work on Pak-Afghan international border has been accomplished.
