Momina Mustehsan back on social media after brief break
Pakistani singer-songwriter Momina Mustehsan has returned to social media after a brief break, declaring life offline is beautiful.

The Afreen Afreen singer posted a sweet monochrome picture of herself on Instagram, marking an end of her short break.
The social activist greeted her fans and said her break dragged out. The caption read, “Hello, it’s me. My Instagram break went on longer than anticipated. Living offline is beautiful.”
“Being exposed to so much content, information and stimulus can be overwhelming- it can almost make you believe it’s a big bad world out there. But that’s not true. We all know the downside to social media, but the upside is that everyone has the opportunity to be heard and to tell their stories firsthand.”
She further added, “The concept of the ‘other’ is shrinking. We are all the same, and not the same. Life is a big puzzle and we all hold different pieces to the larger picture. We all have little solutions to the bigger problem. We just need to be human together.”

The musician revealed she would be taking some time off social media on June 26.
BBC ranked Momina Mustehsan among the 100 most influential women in its 2017 list. Mustehsan has also been featured by Forbes in its’ ‘30 under 30’ Asian list along with nine other Pakistanis.
