Web Desk: The Afghan Taliban regime will have to choose between Pakistan and the patronage of terrorist groups.
According to security sources, to this respect, journalists from different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were given a briefing at the Inter-Services Public Relations regarding Operation "Ghazab lil-Haq."
It was further said that Pakistan has no issue with Afghanistan or the Afghan people and its sole concern is the Afghan Taliban regime, which is acting as a central proxy master for terrorism in the region. By facilitating multiple militant organizations, the regime has become a threat to regional peace and stability.
It was told that the Operation Ghazab lil-Haq is a continuation of Pakistan's ongoing war against terrorism and will continue until there are credible guarantees and concrete steps from the Afghan Taliban regime to end the sponsorship of terrorism.
The security sources emphasized that Khawarij are promoting a distorted and self-fabricated interpretation of Islam. Islam has nothing to do with terrorism or suicide attacks.
The killing of innocent people, oppression of women, attacks on mosques and their use for terrorist activities are contrary to our religious and social traditions. Scholars from all schools of thought have declared the struggle against these elements and their facilitators as a form of righteous jihad.
The security sources further said Pakistan is targeting hideouts, facilitation centers and launch pads of Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan involved in terrorism. All operations are based on credible intelligence and directed only at terrorist infrastructure.
They rejected reports suggesting civilian populations are being targeted, terming such claims contrary to facts and an attempt to ignore the loss of innocent Pakistani lives due to terrorism.
The briefing also noted that the Ministry of Information and security institutions are regularly updating the media and the public about the progress of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, along with authentic video reports of the operations.
It was said that the oppressed segments within Afghanistan have welcomed the operation, while false and fabricated propaganda is being spread through Afghan official social media accounts and sections of Indian-backed media.
The security forces updated that in addition to actions against terrorist hideouts inside Afghanistan, intelligence-based operations are continuing within Pakistan, with more than 200 such operations being conducted successfully on a daily basis.
They emphasized that national unity and full implementation of the National Action Plan are essential for eliminating terrorism.
It was said that Pakistan believes in constructive and positive relations with all countries and remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Those who consider Pakistan's security to be under threat in the context of the situation in Iran and the wider region are living in a fool's paradise.
