Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that under Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, 684 personnel of the Afghan Taliban regime have been killed, and more than 912 others injured.
According to details, in a statement posted on the social media platform X, Attaullah Tarar said that 252 Taliban posts have been destroyed and 44 captured, while 229 tanks and armed vehicles of the Afghan Taliban regime have been destroyed. He added that airstrikes targeted objectives at 73 locations in Afghanistan.
In the X post, he further stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces targeted terrorist hideouts on the night of March 14 and 15, destroying technical support and weapons storage facilities of terrorists in Kandahar, including an underground tunnel used for storing technical equipment.
The Information Minister also said that in the Chitral sector, the Taliban’s jump-off point at Afghanistan’s Badini post was destroyed, and actions were carried out against locations supporting terrorism in Pakistan.
Attaullah Tarar emphasized that no civilian population or infrastructure was targeted, contrary to claims being falsely made by Afghan government officials and the media.
