Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party’s Vice President and Senator Sherry Rehman’s daughter, Marvi Khurshid Malik, has passed away at the age of 39.
According to family sources, Marvi Malik was shifted to a private hospital in Karachi in critical condition due to a brain embolism, where she was on a ventilator but could not survive.
Family sources further stated that the funeral prayers of the deceased will be offered tomorrow (Monday), March 23, 2026, at 3:30 PM in DHA Phase 8, Karachi.
Following the news of Marvi Malik’s passing, political, social, and journalistic circles have expressed deep sorrow and grief, and prayers are being offered for the departed soul and patience for the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Marvi Malik and prayed for her forgiveness.
