Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi has confirmed that the Pakistan Super League will begin as scheduled on the 26th of this month.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, he said that in view of the ongoing situation in the Middle East, spectators will not be allowed in stadiums as per government directives and austerity measures.
The Chairman said the grand opening ceremony planned for the event has been cancelled, and only matches will take place.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that, due to austerity measures, matches will now be held only in Lahore and Karachi.
