Quetta: Seven people have died and several others were injured due to heavy rains and flooding across multiple districts of Balochistan.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released a report detailing the damages caused by the recent rains and floods in the province.
According to the report, fatalities and injuries were reported in Harnai, Kohlu, Turbat, Jaffarabad, Loralai, and Kachhi districts.
In Bala Nari, a breached embankment destroyed around 100 houses and killed 50 livestock, while approximately 400 acres of agricultural land were inundated.
The Director General of PDMA stated that nearly 100 houses were damaged in Harnai and Qila Abdullah, and floodwaters have blocked the Gandawah–Nuttal road in Jhal Magsi.
