Rawalpindi: A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred while one terrorist was killed and another was arrested in injured condition in South Waziristan operation, last night, said military’s media wing.


According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces witnessed an unusual movement near the Pakistan Army picket and quick response force was sent to deal with the terrorists.
During the intense exchange of fire, a terrorist was killed while a soldier of Pakistani soldier, identified as Naik Ziauddin, embraced martyrdom. Naik Ziauddin belonged to the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP)’s Mardan area.
The security forces also arrested another terrorist in injured condition, who revealed that that had planned to attack Pakistan Army’s check post.
