Security forces repulsed a cowardly suicide attack by Khwarij on Domel Police Station in Bannu district of KP

Five innocent civilians including three women and a child were martyred while four others were critically injured as a suicide bomber targeted civilian population outside Police Station Domel, in District Bannu.
According to security sources, the security forces repulsed a cowardly suicide attack by Khwarij on Domel Police Station in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The injured have been shifted to the hospital where they are being provided immediate medical assistance.
The security sources further said that rescue teams and locals are busy in removing the debris of the affected building and carrying out relief activities.
The security forces have cordoned off the entire areas and launched rescue and search operation.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in a suicide attack on Police Station Domel in district Bannu.
In their separate statements, they strongly condemned the suicide attack on Domel Police Station in District Bannu, and prayed for high ranks of the martyred and speedy recovery of the injured.
The President, in his statement, said eliminating the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country is foremost priority of the government.
He also expressed unflinching resolve to completely root-out the scourge of terrorism from the country.
In his statement, the Prime Minister also expressed his resolve to completely eliminate all forms of terrorism from the country.
