PM holds phone call with Pezeshkian, Iranian President confirms participation in Islamabad talks
Pezeshkian thanked the Prime Minister and appreciated Pakistan’s leadership for its efforts in facilitating the temporary ceasefire between Iran and the United States.


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which the Iranian leader confirmed that Pakistan will host negotiations between the United States and Iran on April 10.
According to details, the conversation, which lasted over 45 minutes, was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Prime Minister praised the Iranian leadership’s wisdom and foresight in agreeing to a ceasefire and welcomed Iran’s acceptance of Pakistan’s offer to host the talks in Islamabad later this week.
During the call, the Prime Minister also conveyed his respects to Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
President Pezeshkian thanked the Prime Minister and appreciated Pakistan’s leadership for its efforts in facilitating the temporary ceasefire between Iran and the United States.
He also extended good wishes to the people of Pakistan and confirmed Iran’s participation in the upcoming negotiations in Islamabad. Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact moving forward.
