Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched a free-of-cost government “Dead Body Transfer Service.”
The Chief Minister handed over vehicle keys to drivers for Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan.
On this occasion, Maryam Nawaz stated that in the difficult time of losing a loved one, “we stand with the bereaved and will continue to do so.”

She further said that it is unfortunate that private transporters charge exorbitant fares upon a patient’s death.
The Chief Minister also emphasized that even if someone voluntarily offers payment for the transfer of a deceased body, rescue personnel must not accept it.
