First time transgender individuals recruited as prison wardens in KP

Peshawar: For the first time in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, transgender individuals have been recruited as prison wardens.

According to the Superintendent of Jail, two transgender wardens have been appointed in the province for the first time and will assume their duties at the Central Jail starting next week.

The Superintendent further stated that Subia Khan and Zohaib have been appointed as jail wardens.
