Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan defeated India not only on the military front but also on the diplomatic and narrative fronts.
According to details, while speaking in an interview with Pakistan Television (PTV) today, he said that the Ministry of Information, ISPR, and the Pakistani media successfully exposed India’s lies and baseless claims by presenting facts effectively.
During the interview, the Information Minister appreciated the Pakistani media for its mature, responsible, and fact-based reporting at a time when the Indian media was engaged in war hysteria through false reporting.
He further said that the Indian media had even claimed to have targeted imaginary seaports in Lahore and Multan, despite the fact that everyone knows these cities do not have any coastline or sea ports.
Responding to a question, he said that Pakistan believes in peace, but this desire for peace should not be mistaken for weakness. He added that Pakistan’s defence is in strong and capable hands.
