Pakistan Army warns India:Any attempt to erase a nuclear state will have mutual consequences:Ispr
Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s military media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has strongly reacted to the provocative remarks made by the Indian Army Chief, stating that threatening to erase a nuclear-armed neighboring country from the map reflects “mental bankruptcy, war hysteria, and dangerous provocation,” while urging India to adopt the path of peaceful coexistence.

According to details, Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, during an interview, said that Pakistan must decide whether it wants to remain part of geography and history. In response, ISPR stated that contrary to the delusions, arrogance, and persistent hostility toward Pakistan promoted under Hindutva-driven ideology in India, Pakistan is already an important global state, a recognized nuclear power, and an inseparable part of South Asia’s geography and history.

The statement added that the Indian Army Chief’s remarks demonstrate that India’s leadership has neither wholeheartedly accepted Pakistan’s existence nor learned the proper lessons despite the passage of eight decades. It further noted that this arrogant, war-driven, and narrow-minded mindset has repeatedly pushed South Asia toward wars and crises.

ISPR emphasized that threatening to wipe out a sovereign nuclear neighboring state is neither a strategic signal nor diplomatic pressure, but rather a reflection of mental instability, war obsession, and reckless provocation. It warned that the consequences of any such geographical destruction would undoubtedly be mutual and all-encompassing. Responsible nuclear states, the statement said, demonstrate restraint, maturity, and strategic wisdom instead of using language of supremacy or annihilation.

The military’s media wing further stated that the Indian narrative conveniently ignores the historical reality of India’s involvement in terrorism promotion, state-sponsored militancy, regional destabilization, cross-border targeted killings, and organized global disinformation campaigns.

ISPR reiterated that the statement by the Indian Army Chief proves India’s leadership remains unable to reconcile with the idea of Pakistan even after eight decades and has failed to learn from history.

The statement further said that India’s aggressive posture reflects frustration rather than confidence, especially after repeated failures to undermine Pakistan, which became evident during “Operation Marka-e-Haq.”

Pakistan Army warned the Indian leadership against pushing South Asia toward another crisis or war, stressing that the consequences would be devastating not only for the region but beyond.

The ISPR spokesperson concluded by stating that India must recognize Pakistan’s importance and adopt peaceful coexistence; otherwise, any attempt to target Pakistan could lead to consequences that would neither remain geographically limited nor be strategically or politically acceptable for India.
