Security forces have killed twenty-two Khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij in North Waziristan during the last twenty-four hours.
According to ISPR, a sanitization operation is being conducted by security forces in the general area of Shewa in the district.
Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from the killed Khwarij.
Presently, the sanitization operation is in progress and the area has been effectively cordoned off by security forces.
