Pakistan have qualified for the semi-finals of the Under-18 Men’s Asia Cup Hockey Tournament after a commanding 5-2 victory over Bangladesh in Kakamigahara, Japan today.
Muhammad Yahya was declared Player of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance.
Pakistan will face India in the semi-final on Saturday.
Pakistan Hockey Federation President Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani congratulated the team and praised their discipline, teamwork and fighting spirit.
He expressed confidence that the team would continue their winning momentum in the knockout stage.
