Ishaq Dar contacts Turkish Foreign Minister, discusses changing regional situation

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, both leaders discussed the evolving regional situation and emphasized the need for dialogue and restraint.
The spokesperson said that during the contact, both leaders expressed hope that understanding would soon be reached among all relevant parties, which would help establish lasting peace and stability in the region.
The spokesperson further stated that the Deputy Prime Minister and the Turkish Foreign Minister agreed to maintain close contact on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
According to the statement issued by the spokesperson, Ishaq Dar also reaffirmed his commitment to continuing high-level engagements and exchanges to further strengthen Pakistan-Turkey multifaceted partnership relations.
