Ishaq Dar’s telephonic contact with Egyptian foreign minister;exchange of views on latest regional situation

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both leaders exchanged views on the latest regional situation and welcomed positive progress in ongoing diplomatic efforts to promote regional peace and stability.

The spokesperson said that both sides expressed hope that ongoing contacts between the United States and Iran would soon produce a constructive outcome, which would help in establishing lasting peace and stability in the region.

It was further stated that during the conversation, both sides agreed to maintain close contact and continue consultation on matters of mutual interest.
