“We will not reopen schools for another week,” said CM Sindh while instructing teachers, staff and parents to get vaccinated within due time.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah said that schools across the province will reopen on August 23.
Shah said that the schools would reopen with only 50% of students in attendance, while the educational institutions that have a full vaccination rate will be allowed a 100% student strength.
“Closing and reopening schools was not the solution and a different method should be adopted which does not harm the students' education,” he added.
