Five terrorists killed in Washuk IBO, Balochistan: ISPR

WEB DESK -- Five Indian-sponsored terrorists have been killed during an intelligence-based operation in Washuk District of Balochistan.

According to ISPR, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Washuk District of Balochistan on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy, Fitna al-Hindustan.

During the operation, a terrorist hideout was busted by security forces through swift and decisive action.

A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorist found in the area.

The relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm-e-Istehkam”, as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan, by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the security forces for killing five Indian-sponsored terrorists during a successful intelligence-based operation in the Washuk area of Balochistan.

In their separate statements, they reaffirmed the nation's resolve to stamp out terrorism from the country.

The President, in his statement, praised the ongoing clearance operations aimed at eliminating other foreign-backed terrorists active in the region.

He emphasized that the conspiracies of the terrorists' foreign patrons and their local facilitators would be thwarted.

In his statement, the Prime Minister said the security forces are gaining prominent successes against terrorism under Azm-e-Istehkam vision.

He expressed the resolve to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations from the country.
