Lahore: Former cricketer and head coach of Pakistan cricket team Misbahul Haq has contracted coronavirus in West Indies before return of Pakistani team.


Haq, who is present in Jamaica, West Indies along with the cricket team, will have to go through 10-day quarantine, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed in a tweet.
In pre-departure PCR testing, Misbah-ul-Haq has tested positive, he remains asymptomatic. Rest of the squad to fly out from Jamaica later today as scheduled.

We wish Misbah a speedy recovery.

Two Covid-19 tests were performed on all team members and management officials before their return to Pakistan, but only Misbahul Haq was tested positive.
Though Haq is having no symptoms, he will stay in West Indies.
