Karachi: The Sindh government has decided to reopen all public and private schools across the province on August 30, the provincial education department said on Friday.

According to the notification, all schools will be allowed to operate 5 days a week and restricted to ensure 50% attendance.
All the heads of educational institutions will ensure 100% vaccination of teaching and non-teaching staff while producing evidence to the concerned regional head, the notification read.
Earlier this week, the province’s education Minster Sardar Ali Shah had said that the government would allow schools to operate from August 30 for those who have fully vaccinated their staff.
Sardar added that “ the quicker the people get vaccinated , the sooner Pakistan could get rid of Covid-19” .
