Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 48 coronavirus deaths and 1,594 new positive cases in one day.
According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), around 1,594 cases of coronavirus were reported while 48 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 11,295.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 532,412.
As many as 486,489 patients have recovered from the disease with 2,070 critical cases.
Punjab
After sharp increase in cases, the number of patients swelled to 153,410 in the province. The province reported 4,561 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 240,570 in the province, while the death toll has reached 3,888.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 65,287 in the province with 3,233 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 18,736 confirmed cases while 193 patients died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 8,795 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 254. On the other hand, there are 4,901 cases in GB with 102 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 40,713 cases in the capital city while 465 people have lost their lives.
