Islamabad: The government has decided to promote all the students of grades 10TH and 12TH into next classes.


According to reports, the decision has made at the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) chaired by Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood.
The conference adopted the educational policy formulated in the wake of coronavirus.
Reportedly, the conference decided that all the students of class X and XII would be passed as it’s impossible to take supplementary exams due to the worst current situation of coronavirus.
The students below 33 percent marks will be awarded passing marks, a source said.
The sources said the conference decided that the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations would be conducted twice a year.
The matriculation examinations will be held in May and June next year, while the new session would start in August.
