Sharma must replace Kohli as T20 captain, back former Indian Players
Virat was leading all the formats and recently decided to relinquish the T20 captaincy after the 20-overs World Cup scheduled in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from Oct 17.
New Delhi: As per the formal players, Rohit Sharma manifested exemplary leadership during the Indian Premier League (IPL) and must replace Virat Kohli as Twenty20 (T20) captain.
Virat was leading all the formats and recently decided to relinquish the T20 captaincy after the 20-overs World Cup scheduled in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from Oct 17.
Kohli has said that he will pay focus on the ODI and Test.
Rohit Sharma is considered the most successful captain of IPL, therefore, an obvious choice for the captaincy.
