Karachi: Acclaimed Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has officially announced his television debut in an upcoming drama ‘Sang-e-Mah’.

The singer made his acting debut in 2011’s Bol movie.
The upcoming drama, Sang-e-Mah is the sequel to 2016’s Sang-e-Marmar, starring Kubra Khan, Sania Saeed, Ijaz, and Mikaal Zulfiqar.
Sang-e-Marmar revolves around a Pashtun family of Gulistan Khan and his family where he follows strict Pashtun traditions, such as avoiding western clothing, which is considered a threat to Pashtun traditional values.
Khan’s youngest son Aurang was sent to Peshawar University and his only emotional attachment is to his mother, who is the reason he often visits his village.
