Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Power Tabish Gauhar has resigned from his post on Tuesday.
Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Power Tabish Gauhar has resigned from his post on Tuesday.
According to the sources, Tabish Gohar was appointed as SAPM on October 1, 2020 and served as the chairman and CEO for K-Electric for seven years.
Sources said that Prime Minister was not satisfied with Tabish Gauhar’s performance.
Reportedly, Energy Minister Hamad Azhar met Imran Khan yesterday and during the meeting, he expressed concerns over Tabish Gohar.
In addition, Tabish Gohar was accused of deploying approved officers in PSO, Fesco and various power plants.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has accepted the resignation of Tabish Gohar.
A notification has also been issued for the resignation of Special Energy Assistant Tabish Gohar.
