Islamabad: Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary held a press conference in Islamabad on Wednesday alongside the Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed and presented a detailed report on how India sabotaged Pakistan, New Zealand cricket series.

Fawad Chaudhary showed a fake Facebook post of ex-Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militant Ehsanullah Ehsan threatening the Kiwis to not tour Pakistan.

Moreover, the Indian newspapers warned about a possible terrorist attack.


He said that on August 24, New Zealand opener Martin Guptill's wife received an email threatening her husband from ID with the username "Tehreek-e-Labbaik".

Moreover, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain also said that some countries have used Afghanistan's soil to destabilize Pakistan but we have successfully foiled these conspiracies.

Addressing Leaders in Islamabad Business conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said that Pakistan's importance in the context of regional and global connectivity has increased.

He said Islamabad is becoming a global player in decision making under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Fawad Chaudhary said an inclusive and strong government is in the interest of Afghanistan. He said inclusivity is the key to durable peace and stability in Afghanistan and Islamabad is trying to engage the Taliban in forming an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

He said that work is in progress to connect Gwadar and Karachi to Central Asian countries through railway via Mazar Sharif under China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The Minister said that Pakistan is also a strong supporter of peace and stability in South Asia. He said RSS inspired Modi regime is the main hurdle in better relations between Pakistan and India.

He said the government is working on the fast track for the development and prosperity of Pakistan and 1100 different projects are being initiated through different ministries.
