Karachi: An oil tanker that turned side down onto the Native Jetty bridge in Karachi was removed from the road after hectic efforts.

Hlaf of approximately 50,000 litres of oil spilled on the road, leaving the heavy traffic chocked as the tanker was heading Maripur from M T Khan Road.
The driver fled the scene, while police impounded the tanker, saying the nature of incident would be clear on after driver issues statement.
Officials of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and Karachi Port Trust washed the road with specific presusres of water bousers.
Traffic police diverted the traffic to other routes. Officials said efforts are in progress to restore traffic on bridge.
