National women’s football championship to start from March 8, announces PFF
Karachi: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced that the National Women’s Football Championship (NWFC) 2021, is set to be held from March 08 to April 03 in Karachi.
As per details, 20 teams across the country will participate in this edition of the NWFC and a total of 59 matches will be played.
All the teams will be divided into four groups comprising five members while for the first time in the history of this competition, a Development Stage will be held parallel to the knockout stages.
The top two teams from each of the four groups will play a conventional knockout stage whose winner will be declared as the NWFC champion.
The draws for the NWFC were held on February 17.
