Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday ordered to not close the roads for citizens for the sake of T20 National Cup.

According to reports, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Acting CEO Salman Naseer, SP Security Imran Ahmed Malik, and CTO Muntazir Mehdi appeared before the court.
The court also summoned the home secretary on October 11, while Judicial Water Commission submitted a report on atmospheric pollution to the court, according to which there are six million vehicles in Lahore. “And when one car stops, four pounds of carbon are emitted from it, which leaves the effects for high pollution in the city.
When Justice Shahid Kareem asked counsel for the commission as to on whose orders roads were blocked during matches, he replied, “It is on Home Department orders.”
