In an unfortunate incident, three family members including two children lost their lives while three others sustained injuries after an auto-rikshaw overturned and hit by a speeding truck near Vehari Road in Bahawalpur on Thursday.

Bahawalpur: In an unfortunate incident, three family members including two children lost their lives while three others sustained injuries after an auto-rikshaw overturned and hit by a speeding truck near Vehari Road in Bahawalpur on Thursday.
According to details, the family was returning from the wedding ceremony when the ill-fated vehicle overturned while taking a turn. Minutes after a rashly-driven truck collided with a rickshaw, killing three on the spot.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Ahmed (14), Nasreen (15) and Mehreen (18).While, the injured were identified as Ahmed (12), Shahbaz (15) and Manzoora Bibi (70).
Police, however, started an investigation into the incident and a search operation for the truck is underway.
The accident was so severe that three persons, including teen-age brother and sister died on the spot while three other were wounded.
