Prime Minister Imran Khan will reach the Punjab capital on a day-long visit today (Friday) as the premier is scheduled to chair key meetings during his stay in the metropolis.


Lahore: Prime Minister Imran Khan will reach the Punjab capital on a day-long visit today (Friday) as the premier is scheduled to chair key meetings during his stay in the metropolis.
Reports in local media quoting sources said that Imran Khan is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
A briefing on Lahore development projects will also be given in a meeting to be held in the CM House.
Punjab CM will brief Khan on the administrative and political affairs of the province. He will also brief the PM on the steps taken for the restoration of the local bodies.
On the other hand, the Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar will present a report to Imran Khan on his recent visit to Europe and issue of GSP Plus status.
Moreover, a meeting will also be held under the chairmanship Imran Khan to discuss the strategy of the Punjab government regarding the opposition’ protests.
In addition, the meeting will also be apprised about law and order situation in the province.
