According to details, in PK-63 Nowshera, PML-N candidate Ikhtiar Wali won by securing 21,112 votes against his rival candidate Mian Umer Kakakhel of PTI, who got 17,023 votes.

Ikhtiar Wali was the joint candidate of opposition’s alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). The results came as a major shock for PTI which is in government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since 2013.

PML-N candidate Begum Talat Mahmood defeated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI)’s Muhammad Yousuf after securing 53,903 votes. Muhammad Yousuf remained second by getting 48,484 votes.

PP-51 was vacated following the death of PML-N MPA Chaudhry Shaukat Manzoor Cheema in June 2020.

According to unofficial results, PTI candidate Malik Fakhar Zaman has won the seat from NA-45-Kurram. His opponent, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s Muhammad Jamil Khan remained second with 15,761 votes.

On the other hand as per unofficial results, PML-N candidate is also leading the vote count in National Assembly constituency NA-75-Daska, but final result will be announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Daska’s constituency remained under spotlight throughout the previous day due to intermittent violence, firing and clashes between police and party workers.
