Muzaffarabad: The whole nation is celebrating the 74th founding day of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) today (October 24) with traditional zeal and zest.
In Muzaffarabad, the day began with 21 guns salute with a public holiday all over AJK.
The day is transformed initiative to continue the struggle until the freedom of Indian Illicitly Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and compliance of the whole territory to Pakistan.
Following the occasion, Prime Minister AJK, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi will host the main gathering will at Parade Ground.
Special prayers will be offered in mosques for the honor and prosperity of Pakistan and the early liberation of IIOJK.
On this day in 1947, the founding day is distinguished in memorial of freedom from the Dogra regime.
To highlight the connotation of Founding Day, several channels and all three radio stations of AJK will broadcast special programs.
