PDM planning to field Maulana Fazlur Rehman as candidate for PM slot, tells Imran Yaqub Khan
Lahore: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is planning to bring PDM and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman as the PDM’s candidate for Prime Ministership.

Senior journalist Imran Yaqub Khan while speaking in GNN programme “View Point” said that the contact between between Nawaz Sharif, Former President Asif Ali Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been established and PML-N supremo in his conversation with both leaders has declared Maulana as PDM’s candidate for the Premiership.

Nawaz Sharif has voiced Asif Ali Zardari that if an in-House change is on the cards, then PML-N would manage a guaranteed victory from a constituency of Lahore to elect JUI-F chief. Fomer PM also said that Maulana would be elected and emerge as PDM’s candidate for PM slot, Mr Yaqub added.
