Islamabad: Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry on Monday demanded immediate release of Opposition Leader of Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh.

Fawad Chaudhry turned to twitter and said that arrest of Haleem Adil Sheikh in political cases deserves solid condemnation.
“Arrest of Haleem Adil Sheikh in a political case and attack on him by goons is highly reprehensible,” he added.

Earlier today, Haleem Sheikh had complained of chest pain and requested the jail superintendent to take him to the hospital due to ill-health. Hence, he was shifted to hospital.
He was arrested five days prior for allegedly entering a polling station in the PS-88 constituency and transferred to jail yesterday on judicial remand.
