Commencement of Ramadhan, Eid will be on same day across Pakistan, Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee
Peshawar: Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Abdul Khabir Azad has said that Eid and beginning of Ramadhan across Pakistan will be on the same day.

According to details, Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman met Head of the regional moon-sighting committee at the historic Qasim Ali Khan Mosque Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai in Peshawar.
During the meeting, issue related to Moon sighting came under discussion. Both visiting dignitaries agreed to take matters forward and strengthen Shariah evidence.
Chairman Azad said that the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, Eid and Commencement of the Holy Month of Ramadhan would be on the same day across Pakistan.
Mufti Popalzai said that this is the first meeting and there should be unity in celebrating Eid and Ramadan on the same day across Pakistan.
Replying to a question, Mufti Popalzai said that even if the bill related to the moon is passed, it will be considered illegal and illegal.
