Pakistan reports 418 new Covid-19 cases, 7 more deaths
The COVID positivity Ratio was recorded at 1.04 percent
Lahore: Around 418 fresh coronavirus cases emerged while 7 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 28,655 on Saturday.
According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 319 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Pakistan has conducted 39,200 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 319 persons were tested positive for the disease. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 1.04 percent.
The total number of cases has reached 1,281,559.
As many as 1,230,094 patients have recovered from the disease.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 442,268 in the province with 12,990 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 473,767 in the province, while the death toll has reached 7,611.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 179,421 in the province with 5,812 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 33,425 confirmed cases while 358 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 34,527 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 741. On the other hand, there are 10,404 cases in GB with 186 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 107,427 cases in the capital city while 950 people have lost their lives.
On the other hand, the National Command and Operation Centre announced that the Covid-19 vaccination for children between 12 to 15 years of age will remain suspended till Nov 27 due to the ongoing national measles and rubella campaign launched across the country for 13 days.
