Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will take a final decision for re-polling or releasing election results of the NA-75 by-elections today, after the completion of an inquiry.
As per sources, the election commission has summoned the district monitoring officer (DMO) and Returning Officer (RO).
The DRO will appear before the ECP and submit his report and In the light of his findings, the commission will decide whether to consider re-polling at 20 polling stations, where the results are suspected to have been tampered with, or release results on NA-75 polls.
The ECP would also take a decision on the matter related to clashes between the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers in the constituency.
