“This is Saqib Nisar’s voice. Your deed is public now. Not to accept sin is worse than committing sin”.

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif Monday reacted to the alleged audio clip of ex-chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar, saying that the “time has come to right the wrongs” inflicted on former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz.
Shahbaz Sharif was referring to the alleged viral audio clip on social media in which CJP Saqib Nisar purportedly passed instructions to sentence former-premier Nawaz.
On his official twitter handle, Shehbaz wrote, “The emergence of a new audio clip of former Chief Justice shows how Nawaz Sharif & Maryam Nawaz were targeted as part of a grand scheme to keep them out of political process”.
“Time has come to right the wrongs inflicted on them,” PML-N leader added.
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) further added that the nation is waiting for justice to be served.
The emergence of a new audio clip of former Chief Justice shows how Nawaz Sharif & Maryam Nawaz were targeted as part of a grand scheme to keep them out of political process. Time has come to right the wrongs inflicted on them. The nation looks forward to justice system.

Reports quoting sources said that, Fact Focus obtained this audio some two months ago and had it examined by a leading American firm specializing in multimedia forensics.
The firm’s analysis report, however, certifies the integrity of the audio file and states that “this audio has not been edited in any way”.
Maryam also turned to twitter and showed her exasperation on the alleged audio clip saying, “Allah u Akbar (God is great)”.

It is pertinent to mention here that in the viral leaked audio clip, Justice (retd) Saqib Nisar had allegedly passed instructions to some unidentified person to sentence Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.
However, Justice (retd) Nisar termed the leaked audio clip of his conversation with an unidentified person as “fabricated” and contrary to fact.
The leaked conversation is as follows:
As per the leaked audio, Chief Justice Nisar instructed that Mian Sahib (Nawaz Sharif) and his daughter (Maryam Nawaz) must be sentenced even though it is unfair.
Saqib Nisar: Let me be a little blunt about it; unfortunately, here it is the “institutions” who dictate judgments. In this case, we will have to penalize Mian Sahib and “they” say “we shall bring Khan Sahib”.
Anonymous: But, in my view, ‘His daughter [Maryam Nawaz] doesn’t merit a sentence.
Saqib Nisar: You are absolutely correct. I did talk to my friends that something should be done about this but they did not agree.
“Regardless of the merit, we will have to do it (sentence Nawaz Sharif), and even to his daughter”.
“There will be no independence of the judiciary, so let it be…”
In the meantime, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, taking to blue bird platform said that, “This is Saqib Nisar’s voice. Your deed is public now. Not to accept sin is worse than committing sin”.
