Six of family killed as car plunges into ditch 

In an unfortunate incident, at least six people of the same family lost their lives after a car fell into a ditch in Lower Kohistan on Wednesday

As per preliminary reports, the family belonged to Jalalabad Gilgit. The deceased were returning from the funereal of a relative.

Reportedly, the driver lost control of the car after which it fell into a deep ditch.

The horrific accident reduced the vehicle to the wreckage, leaving all the family members dead on the spot.

Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information for rescue operations.

As per police officials, the accident occurred due to a technical fault in the vehicle.

Moreover, the car was traveling from Islamabad to Gilgit and the deceased have yet to be identified. 

The dead included children and women as well.
