Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the academic blocks of Al-Qadir University at Jhelum today (November 29).
The Imran Khan-led government is hoping that Al-Qadir University —based on Islamic teachings, sufism and modern scientific research, will play an important role in promoting knowledge and research among the young generation as well as in character building.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Sunday said that the establishment of Al-Qadir University was another gift of Prime Minister Imran Khan for Jhelum.
On his official twitter handle, the Federal Minister said that the university would add a new dimension to the social sciences.
The minister hoped that Al-Qadir University would become a scholastic institution of the world which would produce scholars of ‘sufism’, Islam and science.
