Cars collided on Motorway's Salt Range section near Kalar Kahar


Islamabad: Two cars collided on Motorway's Salt Range section near Kalar Kahar area, injuring eight people, including two children.
According to GNN, an over speeding car collided with another oncoming car on Kalar Kahar Motorway. Due to the high speed, both the cars got down from the motorway, one car hit a tree and the other went out of the roadside railing.
As a result of the accident, 8 people including 2 children and 2 women were injured out of which two patients are said to be in critical condition.
According to rescue, all the injured have been shifted to Trauma Center Kalar Kahar where they were referred to Rawalpindi after first aid.
Among the injured were Iman Fatima, Atiya, Shehzad, Hareem and Hameed, residents of Rawalpindi while Syed Shah Kamal, Abu Bakar and Hassan are said to be from Lahore.
The accident took place due to high speed, one car was going from Sargodha while the other car was going from Lahore to Rawalpindi.
